The Atlantic City Police Foundation is holding its Annual Atlantic City Hero Luncheon supporting the Atlantic City Police Foundation at Council Oak Steak & Seafood at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. James Kutch, the Foundation's Treasurer, will be honored for his outstanding efforts in the community. Atlantic City Police Department Sgt. Jonathan Walsh will also be recognized for his heroic efforts. Proceeds from the luncheon will be used for non-budgeted programs and equipment of the Atlantic City Police Department.Limited tickets are available at www.acpolicefoundation.org for $100 for active or retired members of the public safety community or $125 for all others. There will be a cash bar and door prizes.

James Kutch, longtime executive board member of the Foundation and the recently retired Director of Finance/Ass't. Director of the Special Improvement District of the CRDA, is being honored for his efforts in the community designed to better the lives of many.

Sgt. Jonathan Walsh, a ten year veteran of the Atlantic City Police Department, and a current member of the Tourism District Unit, is being recognized for his heroic efforts in saving a young swimmer from drowning in June 2025.

About the Atlantic City Police Foundation: The Atlantic City Police Foundation was founded by current and former police officers and business and civic leaders as an independent, non-profit organization to improve public safety in Atlantic City and to sustain the Atlantic City Police Department's initiatives that would otherwise not be feasible under the City's budget.
