Jules Schwenger


Jules Schwenger began her career with the Atlantic City Police Department in 2013, quickly establishing herself as a dedicated Detective committed to serving the community with integrity. Through her leadership, professionalism, and strong advocacy for her fellow officers, she earned the respect of both colleagues and community members alike. In 2020, she made history when she was elected President of PBA Local 24, becoming both the first female and the youngest individual to hold the position in the union’s history.
As PBA President, Schwenger has worked tirelessly to strengthen the relationship between the Atlantic City Police Department, its officers, and the community they serve. She has been a driving force in advancing initiatives that support officer wellness, community engagement, and collaborative partnerships. Her role reflects not only her commitment to advocating for the interests of the union’s membership but also her vision for a safer, stronger, and more connected Atlantic City.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Schwenger is deeply rooted in family and community life. She is a devoted mother of two, coaches' basketball, and teaches Sunday School at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, where she helps guide the next generation with faith and compassion. In addition, she participates in various community programs, further demonstrating her belief in service that extends well beyond the badge. Her leadership, both within the department and throughout Atlantic City, reflects a balance of professional dedication and personal commitment to making a lasting positive impact.
