Brian Barnett

Brian Barnett brings nearly four decades of law enforcement, investigative, and security leadership experience to the Atlantic City Police Foundation. He currently serves as Vice President of Security at Tropicana Casino Resort.

Barnett began his law enforcement career in 1989 with the Galloway Township Police Department. In 1994, he joined the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, where he served for 24 years, ultimately rising to Captain of County Detectives and serving as Acting Chief of County Detectives. He retired after more than 29 years in law enforcement.

Barnett joined Tropicana in 2018 and advanced through several security leadership positions before being named Vice President of Security. His experience includes security operations, investigations, regulatory compliance, training, and public safety.

He holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Saint Joseph’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Stockton University.
